Carrefour des femmes d'Anjou

Carrefour des femmes has served Montreal's Anjou district as a feminist community center since 1985. Their website had become dated, both in appearance and functionality, making routine content management unnecessarily difficult. Rollin rebuilt the site on Craft CMS 5, bringing the design up to contemporary standards while giving the team proper editorial tools.

Understanding the challenge

The existing site made updates difficult and lacked the structure needed for CFA's content types. Managing activities, news, and membership information separately created inefficiencies. The design had fallen behind, failing to represent an organization with forty years of community impact. CFA needed a system that could handle their editorial workflow while presenting their services professionally.

Finding the right solution

Craft CMS 5 provided the foundation for a component-based content system. Activities use a category system for filtering across the site, while also allowing them to be added to the integrated calendar module. The system also manages news articles with author profiles and featured images, partner and funder sections with logo displays, and membership information pages.

Delivering outstanding results

CFA's team now manages content directly without needing developer support for routine changes. The visual refresh brings their web presence in line with their established community role. The community members have also a better access to programming information, while the site now properly represents CFA's forty-year presence in Anjou. Having this level of control means staff can respond quickly to programming changes and keep information current.
